A Norfolk image consultant wants ladies to delve into their wardrobes and donate their unwanted clothes and accessories to help boost Sheringham’s playpark fund.

Sarah Morgan is organising a charity fashion sale and urgently wants donations of good quality clothing, handbags, jewellery, belts, scarves and shoes.

The sale will take place at Pretty Corner Tea Gardens, Sheringham, on Sunday 28th July, and Sarah will donate profits to the Sheringham Playpark Revamp Group’s fund, which aims to raise £100,000 for new equipment at the Cromer Road playpark.

Sarah said: “I’m really impressed that a group of mums and residents are working together to make change happen and create a safe place for their children. Mumpower is a force to be reckoned with!

She added: “I hit on the idea of a fashion sale when I was weeding a client’s wardrobe and there was a big pile for the ‘charity bag’. I suddenly realised I could put these discarded clothes to good use.

“I will accept any clothes and accessories that are clean and in good order, and also those outfits that perhaps have been bought for a wedding or special occasion, worn once and now hang at the back of the wardrobe.”

Sarah Morgan is planning a series of fashion sales to support local charities and good causes. This event is also being sponsored by Annie & Boo fashion boutique in Holt.

  • The Fashion Sale will be held at Pretty Corner Tea Gardens, Pretty Corner, Sheringham NR26 8TW on Sunday 28th July, 11am until 4pm.
  • If you have any items to donate, please email Sarah Morgan at sarah@sarah-morgan.co.uk or for more information go to social networking site Facebook at www.facebook.com/SarahMorganCharityFashionSales
  • Items can also be dropped off at Annie & Boo fashion boutique, Feathers Yard, Holt NR25 6BW.
