Royalty came to Aylsham today as The Duke of Edinburgh toured the St Michael’s Care Complex.

Prince Phillip met members of staff, volunteers, residents and dignitaries, including Rees Coghlan, founder trustee of Aylsham Care Trust and a well-known former town chemist.

The prince watched various activities such as arts and crafts, dance and carpet bowls, and visited the health centre and the housing with care facility.

Broadland MP Keith Simpson and Norfolk’s Lord Lieutenant Richard Jewson were among those present.
