Classic car fans are in for a treat at Wroxham Barns on Sunday 13th July  when over 200 vehicles from the 1970’s will be on display at the Super Dooper  70’s Show & Shine event.  This is the biggest retro car show the venue  has ever held, with all sorts of 1970’s vehicles expected, from cars to scooters  and VW campers, and even a classic ice cream van. Cars on display will include  an Austin Maxi, Ford Cortina Estate Mk3, Morris Marina Mk1, Ford Capri Mk1,  Hillman Imp, Vauxhall Victor, Reliant Scimitar, Opel Kadett Coupe and many more.  There will also be all sorts of vintage stalls selling toys, clothing,  accessories, music, kitchenware and other memorabilia, as well as arts and  crafts stands and an auto jumble. Plus DJ Patrick Burnside will be playing 45s  all day to get visitors into the 1970’s groove. Organised by classic car  enthusiast Paul McAlpine, who co-founded the Norwich Classic Vehicle Club in  1995, the Super Dooper 70’s Show & Shine event will be open from 10am to 5pm  and entrance is free. Commenting on the occasion, Paul said: “We hold this event  at Wroxham Barns every year and it just gets bigger and better. It makes a great  day out for all the family, while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support,  which is one of Wroxham Barns’ chosen charities.” Ian Russell MBE, who owns  Wroxham Barns, added: “We’re really looking forward to having the Super Dooper  70’s Show & Shine event at Wroxham Barns again on Sunday and it’s amazing to  think that this time there’ll be over 200 vehicles! We’ll have the barbecue  going all day and look forward to welcoming everyone then – fingers crossed for  a lovely, sunny day!
