Children can get into the festive spirit with a special Father Christmas woodland trail at Bacton Woods and Holt Country Park.

The fun trails, with a Christmas theme, have been organised by North Norfolk District Council’s Countryside Rangers to show that Christmas time can mean stacks of festive fun outside.

This Sunday, December 13, from 10am-1pm children will have the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and two of his sleigh pulling  reindeer crew, then take a winter trail through Bacton Woods.

The trail will be themed and children will receive a gift. No booking is required for the Father Christmas Trail and the price is £3 per child. Meet at the main car park at Bacton Woods.

The following weekend, between 10am and 1pm, on Saturday, December 19, and Sunday 20, Santa will be getting geared up to welcome children at Holt Country Park. Again two of the sleigh pulling reindeer will be on hand and there will be a chance to go on a winter wander through the woods.

Meet at Holt Country Park visitor centre car park. Again no booking required and price is £3 per child.
