Arts student Kristy Everly is showing Norwich in a new perspective with her You Tube video as part of her degree course.

The 21-year-old student from the Norwich University of the Arts has filmed graffiti all over the city and set the video to music to demonstrate just how good some of the artwork is.

“Not all graffiti is horrible some are real works of art.” She said. “The video was to show people what is out there and how we don’t always notice it as we walk or drive through the city.”

Kristy, a former student at Aylsham High School and Paston Sixth Form College, spent a couple of days around the city videoing, including at St Stephens, Anglia Square, St Benedicts Street and at Grapes Hill underpass. “I walked miles,” she said.

She received a good response from fellow students and lecturers when the video was shown in class and is hoping the video will generate more interest in her project and the hidden parts of Norwich.

She has two more years at university and hopes to follow her interest in graphic design and photography when it comes to work.
