Sheringham man charged with sexual offences

A 23-year-old man has today (Friday 14 October 2016) been charged with a series of sexual offences against girls.

Joseph Shade, of Cliff Road, Sheringham, was charged by officers from Norfolk Constabulary’s Child Abuse Investigation Unit (CAIU) with eight counts of ‘abuse of position of trust/inciting sexual activity with a girl’ and one count of ‘sexual activity with a girl’.

Shade was bailed to appear at Norwich Magistrate’s Court on Friday 18 November 2016.

The charges relate to alleged offences involving four victims in the North Norfolk area between December 2012 and March 2015.
