Appeal after pedestrian injured in North Walsham crash

Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in North Walsham on Wednesday, October 26 involving a car and pedestrian.

It happened on the A149 near to the junction with Norwich Road at about 8.20am when a blue Chrysler Crossfire was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 70s, suffered a broken leg and a head injury, and remains in the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, particularly anyone who may have seen the pedestrian walking in the area prior to the crash or has information concerning the driving manner of the car.
