Andreas wins Cromer election

Restaurateur, entertainer and photographer Andreas Yiasimi has won the seat for the Liberal Democrats for Cromer with twice as many votes as his nearest rival.












Andreas polled 558 votes in the election to find a successor to former leader of Conservative-controlled North Norfolk District Council Keith Johnson. Second was Labour’s Jen Hamilton-Emery with 240, third was UKIP’s David Ramsbotham with 218, while Conservative Tony Nash came fourth with 181. There was a 40pc turnout.
