Andrew’s tribute show to The Stranglers
After playing to audiences in Norwich and Cromer last year, storyteller Andrew Brammer is now bringing his acclaimed show, ‘We Followed The Stranglers’, to his home town of North Walsham.
The show is a tribute to the music of The Stranglers, in which Andrew recounts humorous and poignant memories and anecdotes from the first part of the journey that he and his mates had following the band (1977 – 1982).
He will also be performing some 20 or so acoustic versions and reinterpretations of classic and timeless Stranglers songs from that period.
Andrew said: “After such fantastic reactions the show received in Norwich and Cromer, it’s really exciting to now be able to bring it to North Walsham. This is not just a straight ‘covers’ tribute show, but something very different from the norm, so hopefully people will enjoy a great and nostalgic night out of memories and music.”
The show is on Friday, September 19 (7.30pm) at the Black Swan Theatre. Tickets are on sale now at £10 (+ booking fee) and can be purchased online at www. blackswanpubtheatre.co.uk or you can book in the pub.
