Arrests made following school damage

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with an incident where a school in North Walsham was targeted by vandals.

Windows were smashed on a mobile classroom on the grounds of North Walsham Junior School between Wednesday 29 October and Thursday 30 October. Damage was also caused to a goal post, fencing and turf.

Extensive damage was also caused to a mobile classroom at North Walsham Infant School and Nursery on Friday 31 October. Plastic benches were also thrown into a pond and turf ripped up.

A 16 year old boy from the North Walsham area was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and was bailed until the 22 November.

A second 16 year old boy, who’s also from the North Walsham area, was also arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and was bailed to be dealt with at a later date.
