Arts group to host maiden show

Newly-formed Eaton Arts Group is proving to be a growing success.

Ffiteen members of the group will be taking part in its inaugural show – a pop-up arts and crafts fair on Saturday, October12 (10-3) in St Andrews Church hall, Eaton.

Paintings, drawings, prints, jewellery, textiles, turned wood, stained glass and ceramics will be on show.

The event is sponsored by Eaton Village Residents’ Association, who will be running a refreshments stall during the day.

From small beginnings, the group has grown to around 20 members since an appeal for more recruits was made in Just Eaton and Cringleford magazine.

The group is looking into the possibility of staging further local exhibitions in 2025.
