Youngsters who love to sing, dance and act on stage are being invited to audition for Evita at the Sheringham Little Theatre.

The first audition session for the Easter Youth Production will take place from 10am on Sunday, December 13, and is open to anyone aged eight to 21.

Theatre director Debbie Thompson said: “This is a wonderful opportunity to take part in one of the greatest stage musicals and to work with our professional director Tracy Loftus and the rest of the team here.”

“We are looking for strong singers, dancers and actors from across Norfolk, young people who can commit to rehearsals at the Little Theatre every Sunday from January 10 and then at weekends and during evenings as the production gets closer.”

The show will run from Saturday, April 2, until Saturday, April 9, at the Sheringham venue.

“This is a very ambitious show for us to stage within the confines of the Little Theatre but we are extremely excited about it,” Debbie adds. “Despite being such a big musical we are confident it will work well within our intimate space. It will be a full-scale, creative production with some innovative multi-media effects and will be a fantastic show for young people from the area to take part in.”

Those wishing to audition for Evita should arrive at the Little Theatre in Sheringham at 10am on Sunday, December 13. There is no need to call in advance – for more information visit www.sheringhamlittletheatre.com.
