Aylsham charity shop targeted in burglary

Police in Aylsham are appealing for witnesses following a break-in at a charity shop.

Suspect(s) broke into two sheds at the back of the Break Charity Shop in the Market Place sometime overnight on Wednesday (23 April).

A number of items including clothing, electrical equipment, books and bric-a-brac were stolen.

Local beat manager, PC Greig Shepherd, said: “Some bags of property were found discarded near the shop and we are investigating the possibility suspect(s) may have been disturbed during the incident.

“We’re keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual in the area overnight.”
