Aylsham Healthy Town event returns
Aylsham’s latest Healthy Town Event will be held on Saturday October 24, giving people the chance to talk to providers of health and wellbeing services.
The free event, run by Aylsham Town Council in partnership with The Market Surgery and The Reepham and Aylsham Medical Practice, will take place in the Town Hall, from 10am to 1pm.

VENUE: The Aylsham Healthy Town Event will take place at Aylsham Town Hall.
Visitors can also listen to informative talks, watch demonstrations, or just have a free lunch and cup of tea or coffee.
Aylsham Town Council Chair Kay Montandon said: “We have over 20 organisations coming to provide information, support and advice, and answer questions about health, exercise, support services and treatments available for common ailments.
“This includes Broadland’s Help Hub, which is a fantastic way to start the conversation about what is available to help you improve your wellbeing.”
The Town Council started the Healthy Town initiative in 2024 to give residents better access to supportive health and wellbeing services.
Kay said previous events were well attended and added: “The Town Council is grateful to Broadland District Council for its funding and support.
“The Healthy Town page of the Town Council website is being developed with information from these events to help residents lead healthy and fulfilling lives in the town.”
During the event, the Town Council will also be inviting residents to have their say on planning the future of Aylsham. The council is updating the town’s Neighbourhood Plan to give residents more say on how the town develops. The household survey will be available to fill in and there will be opportunities to ask questions.
