Aylsham Rotary send relief to Philippines

The Rotary Club of Aylsham held a collection in the town recently to raise money to send shelter boxes to the Philippines.

The Club had already agreed to send one from its reserve set aside for such emergencies. In addition, they raised over £1,100 so were able to send a further two boxes.

The ShelterBox solution is as simple as it is effective. It delivers the essentials a family needs to survive in the immediate aftermath of a disaster.

Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, groundsheets, water storage and filtration equipment, cooking utensils, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.
