Beverley launches new Finding Magic podcast series
North Walsham based award-winning performer, workshop facilitator, and magician, Beverley Bishop has launched an inspiring new Finding Magic podcast series.

AIMING TO INSPIRE: Beverley Bishop, pictured with her mother Margaret and editor Ian Sizeland.
Beverley’s journey of Finding Magic began in 2018 after the loss of her son, Jess. She first explored this transformative experience through her play Finding Magic, which delved into grief and the path toward rediscovering joy.
Over the past year Beverley has run workshops across Norfolk and Suffolk, working with bereavement groups, women’s groups, family groups, community centres, and village halls.
Alongside the workshops, Beverley has collected voices from participants, capturing their thoughts on what magic means to them. The recordings have become the foundation for the Finding Magic podcast, developed in collaboration with her long-time friend, producer, and editor Ian Sizeland.
The six-episode series features a main guest in each episode.
Themes include: Family, featuring Beverley’s mother; Childhood with children’s author Keith Hatton and Magic with magician Goldi Goldin. Place features Jane Leitch from Freckenham Village Hall and Jackie Hamilton, whose life was transformed by wild water swimming; Medicine – with Paul Greenhalgh, speaking about his son Angus’ revolutionary cancer treatment and The Magic Within – with life coach Cathy Eden.
“I’m so excited about this project,” says Beverley. “The themes are so varied that I hope they resonate with a wide audience. I truly believe we can all find magic in our lives, and I hope this podcast inspires people to do just that.”
The project was made possible through funding from Norfolk Community Foundation and the National Lottery Community Fund.
Details of all the podcasts can be found at www.findingmagic.co.uk/ podcasts.
