Capsules capture a moment in time
A copy of the North Norfolk MP’s maiden speech is just one of the items in a time capsule at King’s Court Care Home, in Holt.
Steff Aquarone took the speech along for the Holt Youth Project to include in the three capsules being buried at the home on Hempstead Road.

The young people supported by the project had been invited to fill the capsules with items to mark the six months since the home opened its doors.
Julie Alford, co-founder of the project, said: “We are delighted to have been a part of this special collaboration and it has been really enjoyable for our young people to be involved, too!”
The stamps, cards, artwork, newspaper articles and letters from the project and the home’s residents give a huge insight into what life is like nowadays.
Steff said he was “touched to be asked to play my small part”.
Thanking everyone who went along, the home’s customer relations manager Dan Amis said: “It certainly has been a memorable day!”
