Officers are appealing for information following the theft of two cast iron litter bins from the Holt area.

The incident took place sometime between 4.20pm on Monday 23 February and 4.20pm on Friday 20 March 2015 at a North Norfolk District Council depot on Grove Lane in Holt.

Between such times suspect(s) removed a padlock from a gate and stole two litter bins, each weighing around 200-250kg.

PC Susie Crowe, from Fakenham Police Station, said: “The bins are made from cast iron and are very heavy, therefore it would have taken a lot of effort and a vehicle to remove them from their location. “We are keen to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen any suspicious behaviour in the area between the times stated.”

Anyone with information relating to the incident or who believes they may know where the bins are should contact PC Crowe at Norfolk Constabulary on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
