Another Broadland Covid-19 hero has been revealed, and it’s someone well known in and around Sprowston.

Clare Lincoln is the lead with the Sprowston Youth Engagement Project, and her nomination said: “Even during this difficult time, Clare Lincoln has found ways to support young people in Sprowston.

“Sprowston Youth Engagement Project has gone virtual, with sessions providing fitness, entertainment and information for the younger generation. A place where young people know they have support and people to talk to. SYEP have also been supporting local businesses by fundraising for them.”

Trips out may have been suspended for the time being, but SYEP lead Clare Lincoln (centre) has made sure the young people in Sprowston have still had lots of activities to enjoy.

The awards were set up by Broadland District Council to give public recognition to people going above and beyond to help others during the covid-19 pandemic.

If you know of someone who has made a huge difference to your community during the lockdown, please let Broadland Council know through its Facebook page and social media channels using the hashtag #BroadlandHeroes or click here.
