Aylsham Country Market is getting ready for a pre-Christmas reopening in the Town Hall following the end of the latest lockdown.
As long as regulations allow, the weekly market will resume its regular position in the town hall on the morning of Friday, December 4.
Aylsham Country Market Manager Debra Kidd said: “We offer our customers an extremely high standard of locally home-baked goods, handcrafted gifts and homegrown garden produce.
“Our market in Aylsham has been established for over 40 years and we currently have over 30 regular producers.
“We hope to have a busy Christmas selling period up to December 18, reopening after a Christmas break on January 15, all being well.”
The market is scheduled to run from 9am to 11.30am on December 4. If restrictions mean it cannot operate inside, it is expected to hold a stall outside the town hall.
Ahead of its reopening the market is taking orders over the telephone or through its website email and is delivering free of charge within five miles of Aylsham.
Orders need to be in by noon each Tuesday and if the town hall cannot reopen, the market will continue to offer its ordering and delivery service.
