Cringleford Cricket Club is inviting local residents to play for their community club.
The club’s preparations for the 2024 season start next month with indoor nets in Norwich on weekend mornings in March and April, starting on Saturday March 16.
From May to August, the club plays in Norfolk Cricket League Division Two.

ANYONE FOR CRICKET? Cringleford Cricket Club is getting ready for the new season and is looking for new players.

“We had a positive season in 2023, with a decent mid-table finish, and would have finished higher had a couple of close finishes gone our way. We will be looking to build on that this summer,” said captain Andy Boorman.
The club prides itself on serving the communities of Cringleford and Eaton.
“We were particularly pleased to see an influx of new players last year, most of whom were readers of Just Eaton and Cringleford,” chair Paul Arthurs said.
“We are a friendly, sociable and inclusive club, with players ranging from teenagers to retirees.
“So, if you’ve recently moved to the area and fancy joining your local club, or if you played at school and fancy turning your arm over again, we would be delighted to hear from you – starting with the indoor nets.”
The club plays home matches at Cringleford Recreation Ground on Oakfields Road, which boasts a recently-refurbished pavilion, courtesy of Cringleford Parish Council.
Dates of indoor training will be announced in the March issue of this magazine. To express an interest, email Paul (paulgarthurs@ gmail.com). To find out more about the club visit cringleford.playcricket.com/home.
