Cromer council election following tragedy

An election is due to be held on Thursday 21, February, 21 for one councillor for the North Norfolk District Council ward of Cromer Town following the death of former leader Keith Johnson.
Cromer Town is a two-councillor ward, which has been represented by councillor Benjamin Cabbell Manners since the death of Mr Johnson in December.
Nominations can be submitted to the Returning Officer at Electoral Services, NNDC, Holt Road, Cromer, NR27 9EN and must be received no later than noon on Friday, January 25.

Nomination packs and guidance notes for candidates are available from the NNDC Electoral Services team or can be downloaded from the NNDC website along with the Notice of Election and the Election timetable (which includes the deadline dates for nominations of candidates, electoral registration and applying for postal and proxy votes). Other relevant notices and information about the election will also be displayed on the website in due course.
Please note: Norfolk County Council elections are due to be held on Thursday 2 May, although none are due for North Norfolk District Council this year.
