Popular performer Richard Digance is heading to Holt to play the Auden Theatre for the first time.

Many people sing, play guitar and tell stories but not many have supported Steve Martin, Robin Williams or played a guitar duet with Brian May of Queen, Richard Digance has. He is a BAFTA Nominated entertainer, received The Gold Award from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters and is featured in The Virgin Anthology of Songwriters.

Richard Digance is a rare performer in that he’s respected by comedians for his original material and by musicians for being an accomplished performer/guitarist. As a poet Richard’s works are included in The Oxford University Press anthology of British Poetry, used in the Feardon Teaching Aids publications in the United States and as English Literature syllabus material in British Columbia, Canada plus The School Magazine in New South Wales, Australia.

From his early days performing in folk clubs, via his TV appearances on shows such as Pebble Mill at One and Countdown, to his summer festival appearances, Richard has survived all the trends. Now his loyal fans, old and new, will be able to see him in this two hour one-man show on their own doorstep.

Tickets for the gig on Friday, November 1 (7.30pm), cost £14. Advance bookings can be made in person at The Auden box office, by calling 01263 713444 or by emailing
