Eaton Park event is the wheel deal
Bike fans enjoyed an afternoon️ of pedal-powered fun at Eaton Park.
“From test rides on tandems and cargo bikes to free maintenance checks and local cycling stalls, it was great to see so many people getting involved, said Stuart Beard, chairman of event organisers Eaton Park Community Cycling Club. “Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make it a great day.”

Norwich Cycling Campaign and Cycling UK had stalls at the event and two Dr Bike mechanics offered free maintenance and repairs.
Critical Mass cycling campaigning group ended their monthly ride at the park to show support.
The bike day coincided with the annual St Martins Fest, which raised £6,000 for the homeless aid charity. “The day was filled with sunny weather, great music from some fantastic bands and lots of yummy food made by our incredible team at Highwater House,” said a spokesman.
“Thank you to the bands who supported us on the day – Barny Holmes, Archie and Kayleigh Duo, Generation 29, and The Roebucks – You were all incredible.

“Thank you to our event sponsors and all of our lovely team members and volunteers who donated their time.”
The free family event included children’s activities, stalls and games, and a raffle.
All funds will support people experiencing homelessness and will help the charity to provide more accommodation and support in Norwich.
