Sprowston Community High School and Sixth Form will be carrying on its 50th anniversary celebrations with a second annual Christmas Fair.
And money raised from the event will be added to funds for Norwich Open Christmas 2013, a charity which provides a free meal, entertainment and a homely atmosphere for those on their own or homeless on Christmas Day.
The Christmas Fair will be held in the school’s Sports Hall on Sunday, November 24, and will have a range of stalls offering handmade crafts and unique Christmas gifts.
There will also be fun activities for all the family, a raffle, and food and drink.
The Christmas Fair will bring to a close the schools 50th anniversary celebrations by offering the community a chance to help mark this special occasion, by supporting the school’s dedication to helping others.
The event which starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm is free for visitors to attend with plenty of on-site parking.
Headteacher Andrew John said: “I am delighted that we are able to promote the excellent work of this charity, who do much to bring a Christmas Day experience to so many members of our Norwich community.”
Local businesses and groups who would like to support the event or would like further information should contact the schools community events manager by emailing or by telephone on 01603 481888.
