Football team’s Spanish adventure
A team of footballers from Ormiston Victory Academy has enjoyed a four-day trip to Salou, near Barcelona in Spain.
As well as clocking up several wins for the team, the pupils enjoyed some fun in the sun with trips to Port Adventura and Nou Camp Stadium.
Leaving Luton airport on May 21, they landed in 25 degree sunshine, with the weather getting hotter during their stay, especially during their matches.

The team clocked up double wins, with the Year 9s winning their match 3-2 and the Year 10s winning 4-2.
A team representative said: “A very hot game! [The] boys played extremely well and came away with the win!
“We have had the best time and the students have been amazing!”.
