This year sees the return of the ever popular Cromer Carnival Halloween Trail organised by Tony and Libby who run the Carnival Children’s Weeks.

The trail takes place on Thursday, October 31, at 4pm from Cromer Pier Forecourt. Dare you try this scary trail along the prom?!

Children and their parents are encouraged to come along in Halloween fancy dress and bring along their spooky Halloween pumpkins too. There will be prizes for the Best Dressed fancy dress and the Best Carved Pumpkin.

In 2012 the event had to be cancelled due to high winds and rain. Organiser Libby said “we hope this year will be spooky and dry! There will be lots of scary hiding places to look in and plenty of ghosts and ghouls to find, so come along and join in the fun!”

In 2011 the event attracted around 150 local youngsters and 75 parents all dressed up.

The Halloween Trail will start on the Pier Forecourt with children looking in spooky hiding places and treading the haunted boards of the pier to find pictures and collect stamps along the way, but they must watch out for the ghosts and the ghouls on the way!

Coffee Reef on the Pier will be open for refreshments. All children MUST be accompanied by an adult.
