Itteringham Village Open Gardens Day returns on Sunday, June 15 (11am-4pm) with at least 11 gardens opening across the village.

GLORIOUS GARDENS: A beautiful display from a previous event.

There will be something to inspire every visitor, from cottage style, formal with topiary, dry gardens and ones rolling down to the river to some returning favourites that have not been open in recent years.

Rachel Burbidge, one of the event organisers, said: “In addition to the gardens, enjoy our gardeners’ market featuring plants, cut flowers, hand-forged garden metalwork, a tool sharpening station (don’t forget your secateurs!), and more. “You’ll find homemade refreshments served at both the Village Hall and the Itteringham Village Shop and Café, plus Holt Ridge Morris dancers will be roaming the lanes, bringing music and colour to the day. “To top it all off, Norfolk’s oldest shop will be open as usual, with a special ice cream pop-up stall in the old bus shelter – a summer treat not to miss!”

This community-run event supports the volunteer-led Itteringham Community Shop and Cafe.

Tickets are £6 for adults and entry is free for under 16s.
Tickets and maps are available at the Village Hall on the day.
Dogs are welcome on leads and parking for the event will be signposted.
