Good call for cafe as it brings in bingo
North Walsham Deaf Cafe has introduced bingo sessions after a request for them.
The numbers were signed using BSL and cafe organiser Wendy Murphy, who was the caller for the session, said doing it this way was a first for her.
Prizes were donated by the North Walsham Good Neighbours Scheme, Hughes, Postle’s, Timp-sons, Jill Matthews and the Community Shop.
Wendy said they were grateful for their generosity and would be holding more bingo in November.

The Deaf Cafe runs completely without any funds; it is planned this way and the Salvation Army provide their hall as the venue.
Volunteers from the Salvation Army and North Walsham Good Neighbours Scheme help with refreshments and welcome all who come along. Any voluntary donations for refreshments are passed to the Community Fridge, which is now housed in the Salvation Army Hall.
The café meets on the third Saturday of every month, from 10am-noon, at the town’s Salvation Army Hall, in Hall Lane. For further information, email Wendy at wpmurphy@gmx.com
