Gresham’s School in Holt, North Norfolk announced another excellent set of GCSE results with pupils exceeding last year’s A*-C grades.

  • 45% of entries were graded  A*-A
  • 75% of pupils achieved A*-B
  • 97% gained at least 5A*-C grades
  • 97%   gained at least 5A*-C grades (including English and Maths)
  • 21% of candidates achieved 6+ A*

In particular, congratulations to Sophie Hare, who achieved 10 A*s and an A in AO Maths (the highest score possible)

Gresham’s Headmaster, Douglas Robb said, “I am absolutely delighted with this year’s results which very much buck the national trend.  With 3 out of 4 of all grades awarded at the higher A*-B grades it demonstrates that a recipe of hard work, good teaching and a willingness to learn will reward the pupils with high achievement.  I congratulate all of our students and staff.”
