During the weekend of 14th and 15th June gardeners all over Hellesdon will throw open their garden gates for charity. Billed as “Hellesdon Nosey Gardeners” they hope to attract friends and neighbours to their plots to admire, share tips and support good causes.

Organiser Ruth McGinley says “We all put so much into our gardens and it will be a pleasure to share our work with neighbours as well as raising a few pounds for charity.”

Proceeds from the weekend will be shared between Norwich Foodbank and the work of the 3 churches in Hellesdon Parish – St Mary’s Low Road, St Michael’s at Valley Primary School and St Paul’s Hawthorne Avenue.

Tea and cake will be available at the Vicarage on Broom Avenue and Teas and Plant Sales at St Mary’s Church on Low Road.
