Help on offer to make our town healthy
A free drop-in event to promote the various health services on offer to people in the Aylsham area will be held on Saturday, October 19.
Aylsham Town Council has organised another Healthy Town event, which will take place from 2-5pm at the pavilion at the Recreation Ground.

Town Councillor Sue Montandon said: “We have lots of help for the whole family to make sure they are prepared for and supported throughout the coming winter.
“There will be a free café; Broadland District Council’s Help Hub will be there to help with anything from home adjustments to signposting for healthy lifestyle improvements; the local GP surgery will be there to advise on vaccinations and other clinics they offer; the local pharmacy will showcase winter health packs to make sure we all have everything we need for those emergencies and when colds and flu hit; you can learn basic first aid tips and get more training from St John Ambulance; the Aylsham Care Trust will be highlighting their care services; MIND will be available to support and signpost for mental health issues; the Alzheimer’s Society will be on hand for advice; and the Young People’s Health Services will be there to talk to families too.
“This is a Town Council initiative, kindly supported by Broadland District Council to help our residents keep healthy over the winter and beyond. Please do pop in and get some info, or just have a cuppa!”
