Help us build our Benjamin Court case
Campaigners calling for the re-opening of Benjamin Court reablement facility in Cromer are inviting supporters to fill in a survey ahead of a key meeting this month.

CAMPAIGN: Volunteers from Save Benjamin Court at the North Walsham Big Bash event in April.
Representatives will be meeting Mark Burgis of NHS Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Board, who have responsibility for NHS services in the area, on May 12.
“We want to make the strongest case we can for reopening Benjamin Court as soon as possible and to build our case, we are asking people to fill in a questionnaire about which services should be prioritised,” said Martin Booth, who has been spearheading the campaign.
The facility, which offered short-term care for patients transferring from hospital to home, closed without public consultation three years ago.
The Save Benjamin Court campaign received a boost when Mr Burgis said he would like to work with the group on how best to proceed with local care after powerful testimony was read out at a meeting.
Martin added: “This is certainly a big change from the ICB’s previous position of abandoning Benjamin Court and handing it over to NHS Property Services for disposal, and we consider it to be a significant step forward for our campaign.”
The survey can be found online at https://forms.gle/ZLnnMv4EDAHtd3D8A
Any questions or comments about the campaign can be sent to benjamincourtcampaign@gmail.com
Completed questionnaires can be emailed to the same address (above), left at the post box at Cromer Community Centre in Garden Street, or posted to Martin at 14 Station Road, Cromer NR27 0DX.
