Let’s light up Drayton!

People in Drayton are being asked to spread some festive sparkle on December 1 by turning on their Christmas lights at the same time.

The parish council has put up lights in the Florence Carter play area this year, but because of covid-restrictions there cannot be a switch-on event as usual. So, instead, everyone has been asked to turn their lights on at 4pm in a simultaneous illumination.

Council chairman Graham Everett said: “We hope that these lights will bring a little cheer to Drayton parishioners at the end of what has been a difficult year.”
