Man arrested for indecent exposure in Sprowston

A man in his mid 20s from Norwich was arrested earlier today in connection with indecent exposure in Sprowston.

Officers from Sprowston Police Station are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place at the beginning of the week in Sprowston.

Between 6:30pm and 6:50pm on Monday 15 September 2014, three girls were walking on the grass area at the back of Austin Way close to Desmond Drive when they were approached by a man walking his dog.  As they passed the man, one of the girls went to pat the dog and she noticed that the man was exposing himself.   The girls then ran away from the scene towards Morrisons.

Sgt Lee Beckham, Sprowston Police Station, would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has information regarding it.  Sgt Beckham can be contacted on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The man arrested has been bailed until October.
