Man charged with outraging public decency in supermarket

A 69-year-old man has appeared before magistrates this morning charged with outraging public decency following an incident at Tesco, in Sprowston, at the weekend.

Police were called to the Blue Boar Lane store on Saturday, April 25, at about 4.50pm following reports a man had indecently exposed himself.

Officers attended and, following inquiries, a man was arrested in the car park and questioned.

He was later charged with outraging public decency.

Derek Harman, of Ormesby Road, Badersfield, appeared before Norwich magistrates via video link and was released on bail to appear at court again on Tuesday, May 19.
