North Norfolk District Council (NNDC) Countryside Rangers are looking for volunteers willing to join them and get their boots dirty on regular  ‘Muddy Boots Conservation Days’ at Holt Country Park, Pretty Corner Wood near Sheringham,  and Sadlers Wood near North Walsham.

Conservation Days are spent at the different NNDC countryside sites, carrying out practical outdoor conservation work to help improve habitats for wildlife, where volunteers can not only lend a hand with physically active work, but also learn new skills, such as tree planting and pruning, making wildlife homes and lots more.

Muddy Boots Volunteers meet at Holt Country Park every Wednesday morning 10am – 12 noon and at different locations every Thursday, 10am – 2pm. All equipment is provided, including gloves and refreshments, but bring your own boots!

For further information and details of the Thursday meetings, please visit www.northnorfolk.org or email annie.katnoria@north-norfolk.gov.uk
