Neighbours to host charity coffee morning
Neighbours Alena Medler and Lisa Martin, who both share a love for baking, are inviting you to a Macmillan Coffee Morning.
The event, which will raise vital funds for the cancer charity, will take place at Marsham Village Hall on Sunday, October 12 from 10am-2pm.
This isn’t the first time that Alena has hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning in the village, having held an event with a friend when she was aged just 11 a decade ago.
Alena and Lisa said: “Cancer affects so many families, so we hope to be able to raise money for this well-deserved charity who help so many people and their families who are affected by cancer.
“We hope the Aylsham community will be able to join and support this event, where there will be lots of yummy homemade cakes and tea and coffee.”
The pair asked people to bring cash and added there would also be games to play such as guess the weight of the cake.
