New nursery opens at Jubilee Centre

The new nursery at the Jubilee Centre in Cringleford has welcomed its first intake of children.

“It’s been a long time in the planning but we are so happy with the finished nursery and it’s been really exciting to welcome the first children,” said Cringleford Crackerjacks manager Karen Latoy.

She added: “This is a project we have been working on with the Parish Council to provide much-needed early years provision for children from the age of two.

“We are a registered charity that has been running in Cringleford for more than 50 years and this provision is in addition to the Preschool that we also run on the site of Cringleford Primary School.”

The Preschool offers places to children from the age of 2.5 during term-time from 8.45am to 3.30pm while the new nursery is open for 48 weeks a year from 8am to 6pm, which means they are able to meet the needs of more families living in and around Cringleford than ever before.

LISTENING AND LEARNING: Young children settle down for a story at the new Cringleford Crackerjacks Nursery.

The nursery is in a purpose-built building with a dedicated and exciting outdoor space and is run by a team of experienced and qualified early years staff who offer a warm, inclusive and happy environment for children.
