New Scout hut is a big hit
Everyone at the 1st Hoveton and Wroxham Sea Scout Group is delighted that the new HQ has been opened.

It is a rebuild of the original hut but much larger. We have a huge hall, which has a climbing wall, a fully equipped kitchen and excellent bathroom facilities, and the building is now fully accessible.
We can also offer shower facilities which means we can camp at the site in comfort – as well as allowing other groups to camp, too.
The building is available to local groups who can hire it and make use of the new facilities.
The main intention is to offer a variety of activities to young people, and at the opening ceremony we showcased many of the activities we offer our Scouts, Cubs and Beavers.
All of us who volunteer to work with young people are keen to continue to enrich their lives, and our new HQ gives us a wealth of opportunities to do just that.
If you are an adult who wants to join our team, or if you know of a young person aged between six and 13 who wants to join us, we would love to hear from you at enquiries@hovetonandwroxhamscouts.org.uk Andy Petch
