Norwich Castle to close for essential building works

Norwich Castle will be closed to members of the public on Sunday 3 March and Sunday 10 March 2013.

Due to the re-display of Norwich Castle’s Rotunda to accommodate the new Royal Norfolk Regimental Museum displays, it will be necessary to close the Castle in order to undertake essential building works.

Closing on a Sunday, when Norwich Castle is open in the afternoon as opposed to a full day, is the least disruptive solution to undertaking this essential work safely.

Visitors to Norwich Castle will be able to experience the new Royal Norfolk Regimental Museum displays from the summer holidays onwards.

Norwich Castle apologises for any inconvenience.
