Now North Walsham is rocking
A new rock school for young people has been launched at The Atrium.
The weekly band skills workshops are aimed at 13 to 18-year-olds and have been designed to help young people develop their band and performance skills. Activities will include song writing, instrument tuition, stage craft, recording and video making, running Thursdays until uly 18, 6-8pm.
This will be the second in a programme of workshops that are being delivered by Community Music East, with funding from North Norfolk District Council.
The workshop is part of Norwich Sound and Vision’s Young People’s Festival, a Community Music East project which brings together young musicians to develop their music skills. Those taking part will be offered the chance to perform at the annual festival in October.
Call Clara Wiseman at Community Music East on 01603 283382 or email enquiries@cme.org.uk for more information. Cost is £2 per session.
