Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole two ornamental concrete lions from a garden in North Walsham at the weekend.

It happened in the early hours of Saturday morning (28 February) when the gold coloured ornaments, about 30inches in height, were removed from pillars on the front garden wall in Hadfield Road. A rock has also been thrown at the property, smashing the lounge window.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning the whereabouts of the property.

Witnesses should contact PC Tony Perretta at North Walsham Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
