Police appeal following assaults in North Walsham

Officers are appealing for information after three people were assaulted in North Walsham.

The incident took place at around 11pm on Sunday 23 October 2016 in the churchyard of St Nicholas Church in the Market Place.

Two women were walking through the churchyard with a man when the group were attacked by a group of around six males.

One of the women, aged in her 30s, was kicked to the ground and hit on the forehead, the other female victim, aged in her 20s, was pushed to the ground and the man, aged in his 20s was hit over the head with what was believed to be a bottle.

The offenders then ran off in the direction of Vicarage Road and the Sainsbury’s store.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information relating to what happened.
