Police raided a house in Southrepps overnight after suspicions of it being used to grow cannabis.

Residents in Upper Southrepps woke to see a number of police cars outside the property in Chapel Street and officers explained it was part of a campaign to cut crime.

A leaflet handed out explained the operation was to “target persons who are suspected of supplying controlled drugs”.

One resident was later told the house was being used to grow cannabis in the loft.
