Police question burglary suspects, Coltishall

Detectives have launched an investigation following a break-in at a store in Coltishall earlier this morning.

Officers on routine patrol entered the Londis supermarket on the High Street at about 2.40am after noticing the premises was insecure.

Two men, aged 28 and 44, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of burglary and were taken to Police Investigation Centres in Aylsham and Wymondham where they remain in custody. Attempts were made to steal cigarettes but it does not appear that anything was stolen.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area around the time stated.
