Pub delighted to support charities
A pub has handed over £2,000 raised at an annual charity gig to two charities which support young people.
The Brickmakers, in Sprowston Road, welcomed representatives from the Sprowston Youth Engagement Project (SYEP) and the Norfolk SEN Network to receive £1,000 each. The money was raised during the bank holiday Brickfest event, which added to the thousands of pounds of charity money raised by the pub every year.

Landlady Claire Brooks thanked all the pub’s customers, bands, volunteers and staff for helping to raise the money for the Shayne Stork Family Funeral Services two charities. The SYEP runs events for youngsters aged 11 to 24 and the SEN Network helps parents access special needs education for their children.
The pub also raised £300 for the NARS – Norfolk Accident Rescue Service – at its joint bike show with the SCMC during the summer.
