Rainbow brings cheer – and gold on the pier?

With one end on the pier and the other in the sea, this perfect rainbow appeared over Cromer today, spreading some cheerful colour after some very grey days.

Ruth Scorey spotted it from her window and captured it on camera to share the joy, if not the pot of gold – which is surely right in the middle of the pier.

“Let’s hope this rainbow is full of promise for us!” she said.

After the battering the town has had in recent weeks from wind and rain, we must certainly be due a brighter horizon.
