Youngsters at St Michael’s Nursery and Infant School are getting the safety message across.

There is a new “children crossing”’ sign on Blickling Road, which has been made possible thanks to the Town Council and the school governors.

“The original artwork comes from Eben and Eloise (pupils at the school and pictured here) and is designed not only to be a reminder to motorists but also to brighten their day a little,” said headteacher Catherine McMahon.

She added: “Enormous thanks go to the Town Council in the shape of clerk Sue Lake and to St Michael’s School governors, especially Mark Boyd, for making this happen.”
