Students from Sprowston High School have been chosen to appear in an exciting nationwide project by The Royal Shakespeare Company to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream: A Play For The Nation is set to run in 13 selected theatres across the UK with RSC professionals sharing the stage with local amateur groups – and now the renowned company has announced local schoolchildren at each venue will perform as Queen Titania’s Fairy Train.

The 30 pupils from Sprowston (pictured) will perform at Norwich Theatre Royal from April 26-30, alongside 18 RSC actors and six local amateurs from Norwich players The Common Lot.
